Strawberry Margarita Truffles
No-Bake Strawberry Margarita Truffles are a simple and delectable ball of strawberry cake with lime rolled in a thin layer of powdered sugar.
Servings: 24 2-inch balls
- 1/2 cup butter unsalted, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups Strawberry cake mix dry
- Zest 2 small limes
- 1 Tbsp Tequila
- 3 Tbsp sweet and sour mix
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Margarita Salt
In the bowl of a stand mixer add the butter and sugar mix until combined.
Add lime zest.
Blend in Tequila
.Add cake mix, and Sweet and Sour mix and mix until combined.
Add 1 Tablespoon of Sweet and sour mix as needed or more, to make a dough consistency.
Place in a sealable container and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Roll dough into one-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar and place on a parchment-covered cookie sheet.
Chill balls in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to firm up
