Red Velvet Loaf
This red velvet loaf with a delicious cream cheese frosting is so good! It’s super easy to make and is covered with chocolate and crushed candy canes.

- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 C canola oil
- 1 1/2 C mashed bananas
Frosting:
- 1 C unsalted sweet cream butter softened
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 3 C powder sugar
- 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 C chocolate shavings
- 1/2 C crushed candy canes
Loaf:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease a loaf pan and set aside
In a standing mixer, combine the dry cake mix, oil, eggs, and mashed bananas
Pour into the loaf pan and bake for 40 minutes
Place onto a wire rack and let cool to room temperature
Frosting:
Using a standing mixer, combine all ingredients and mix on medium speed until combined and stiff peaks
Scoop frosting into the piping bag
Place loaf out of pan onto a cutting board
Pipe the frosting all over the loaf
Sprinkle with chocolate shavings and candy canes
Let frosting harden for about 10 minutes before enjoying.
