Yum Yum sauce is a sweet and tangy, mayonnaise-based sauce that you usually find at Japanese steakhouses and hibachi grills. It's a flavorful pink-orange sauce that's perfect for serving over fried rice, or for dipping shrimp!
Whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, sugar, paprika, vinegar + garlic powder.
Stir in a little water at a time until you get the sauce to your desired consistency.
Pop the sauce into the fridge, covered, for at least an hour before serving.
Serve homemade yum yum sauce over rice, stir fried veggies, or as a dip for shrimp, egg rolls, and tempura.
Store your sauce airtight in the fridge for up to 5 days, to use in more delicious Hibachi-inspired meals!
