Ingredients

  • 1 16.3-ounce can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven and prepare the biscuits according to package instructions.
  • While the oven is preheating/ and the biscuits are baking, prepare the sausage gravy.
  • Brown the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the flour, cooking for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Increase the heat to medium and slowly pour in the milk, stirring until the mixture has thickened into a gravy.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and seasoned salt.
  • Serve over fresh, hot biscuits.
