Air Fryer Steak

All you need is ribeye, salt, pepper, and olive oil to make this tender, juicy Air Fryer Steak. Add the homemade herb butter for extra flavor and you have a restaurant-worthy steak dinner ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 Ribeye Steaks 1 Inch Thick (You can also use Strips Steaks or Sirloin Steaks)
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 8 oz Salted Butter Softened
  • 1 Tbsp Shallot Minced
  • 1 tsp Fresh Scallion or Chives Finely Chopped

Instructions

  • Let the ribeye steaks sit at room temperature for 10 Minutes, pat each side dry with a clean paper towel.
  • Brush the olive oil on all sides of the ribeyes, sprinkle with salt and pepper, set aside.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400℉.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray and add the steaks, set the timer for 10 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes have passed, flip the steaks over and cook for the remaining 5 minutes.
  • Insert a food thermometer, if it reads 125℉-130℉ the steaks will be a perfect medium rare after resting. Loosely cover the steaks with foil to rest for 5-10 minutes. After resting the steaks internal temperature should read 130℉-135℉ for medium rare.
  • While the steaks are resting, add the softened butter to a bowl with the minced shallot and chopped scallions. Using a hand mixer or rubber spatula mix the butter until completely mixed.
  • Serve the steaks with the shallot herb butter, enjoy!
