Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Cups Ham Drippings If you don’t have 2 cups of ham drippings, use as much ham drippings as you have and add chicken stock or ham stock

Instructions

  • Melt the butter over medium low heat in a large saucepan.
  • Stir in the flour and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Whisk in the ham dripping am mix until the flour is completely incorporated
  • Increase the heat to medium and bring the gravy to a simmer.
  • Simmer the gravy for 5-10 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve the gravy with ham or your favorite sides such as mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
