Crock Pot Bread
People are obsessed with making bread from scratch right now and what could be easier than making it right in your slow cooker. All you need it a few pantry staples to make this delicious, warm, crusty bread. I add a little honey for sweetness and everyone loves this bread!

Line your 6 quart slow cooker with parchment paper.
In a large bowl mix your yeast and sugar and slightly warm water.
Let the yeast bloom for 10 minutes.
Next add in your flour, oil, honey, and salt and stir until it all comes together.
Now on parchment paper or a floured surface knead your bread for about 5 minutes.
Shape the dough into a ball and place it in the parchment lined slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
Carefully remove the bread from the slow cooker and set aside to slightly cool.
Slice and serve!
- This is a very versatile recipe and you can add any flavor you like to it, add cheese or herbs.
- You can use any oil you like from canola to olive oil
- If you want a more golden loaf you can lightly broil the top of the bread until it is your desired color.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
