Strawberry Frosting
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup strawberries diced into small pieces
- 3 cup powdered sugar
- 3 - 5 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup Whipped Cream Cool whip or Homemade
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 baking dish with pam baking spray.
Using a large bowl, beat the strawberry cake mix, water, eggs, and canola oil until combined and smooth.
Pour half of the batter into the baking dish.
Place 8 unwrapped twinkies into the strawberry cake batter.
Pour remaining batter over the twinkies.
Bake in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
Allow cooling completely.
Strawberry frosting directions :
Using a standing mixer, beat all ingredients together until combined and smooth
Spread the frosting smoothly onto the top of the cake
Decorating
Scoop the whipped cream into the piping bag.
Pipe dollops of whipped cream onto the cake.
Top with fresh sliced strawberries.
