Icing Ingredients:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • green pink, yellow, and blue food coloring
  • sprinkles of your choice

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together with a hand mixer.
  • Add egg, milk, and vanilla. Mix again until smooth.
  • Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until dough forms.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them onto a prepared baking sheet.
  • Using a glass dipped in flour, press each dough ball down until it is about 1/2-inchthick.
  • Bake for 9 minutes or until the tops begin to brown.
  • Allow cookies to cool completely.

Icing Directions:

  • Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together.
  • If icing is too thick, add more milk.If icing is too thin, add more powdered sugar.
  • Split icing between 4 small bowls
  • Add 2 drops of colored food coloring to each bowl, creating 4 different colored icings.
  • Dipped cooled cookies into the icing.
  • Immediately add sprinkles of your choice.
  • Allow icing to harden and serve
