  • To a pot, add the celery, carrots, onion, and butter over medium heat for 7 minutes or until the onions are translucent.
  • To the pot, add the minced garlic. Stir for 1 minute.
  • To the pot, add the flour. Add 1/4 cup of flour if you want a thinner soup. Add 1/2 cup of flour if you want a thicker soup. Stir for 3 minutes.
  • To the pot, add the broth and seasonings. Mix and bring to a boil.
  • Add the noodles. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the chicken and heavy whipping cream.
  • Stir and bring to a simmer.
  • Taste to see if salt is needed. Add a 1/4 of a teaspoon of salt at a time.
  • Top with parsley.
