Grilled Cheese Burrito (Taco Bell Copycat)

Each Taco Bell Grilled Cheese Burrito is stuffed with seasoned ground beef, Mexican rice, nacho cheese, sour cream, chipotle sauce, and tortilla strips then cooked in shredded cheese. They're addictively easy and delicious!

Instructions

  • In a medium skillet over medium heat brown and drain your ground beef.
  • To the drained beef add your taco seasoning and water and cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  • Mix the mayonnaise with the chipotle sauce.
  • In each tortilla add nacho cheese, a quarter of the ground beef and ½ cup rice.
  • Evenly divide the chipotle sauce amongst the 4 burritos.
  • Top each one with some sour cream and a good amount of tortilla strips. Fold the burritos up.
  • In a non stick skillet over medium heat add ¼ cup of shredded cheese.
  • Place the burrito seam side down on the cheese in the pan. Cook until the cheese is browned and adhered to the burrito.
  • Using a spatula lift the burrito out of the pan, sprinkle another ¼ cup of cheese in the pan and flip the burrito onto the cheese and cook that side.
  • Repeat with all of the burritos. Enjoy!
