- 2 cups complete pancake mix
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
In a medium frying pan over medium high heat brown and crumble your breakfast sausage.
Once your sausage is cooked through, drain and set aside.
To a large mixing bowl whisk together your pancake mix, water, cheese and syrup until well combined.
Stir in the cooked sausage.
Spoon your batter into mini muffin tins. I use silicone but if using metal either spray your mini muffin tin or line with paper liners.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Use spicy sausage for a kick.
- You can also use maple-flavored sausage for a sweeter flavor.
- You can also use precooked sausage links, just warm them up and cut them into small pieces.
- You can switch up the cheese to your family’s favorite cheese.
