Million Dollar Chicken Salad with Bacon

Everybody loves chicken salad but this Million Dollar Chicken Salad is the best! Shredded chicken, celery, cheddar cheese, bacon, boiled egg and scallions and the perfect creamy dressing comes together to create a delicious chicken salad with plenty of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chicken shredded
  • 1 cup celery sliced
  • 2 hardboiled eggs chopped
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup crumbled bacon
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • ½ cup slivered almonds toasted
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl combine the chicken, chopped eggs, celery, cheese, bacon, almonds and green onions.
  • In a small bowl combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture.
  • Toss to combine.
  • Serve on croissants or thick bread for serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3 days.
This is also great served with crackers!
