Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Cream of Tartar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar Divided
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter Softened
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 3 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line two sheet pans with a silicone liner or parchment paper.
  • Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt to a medium bowl, and mix until blended.
  • Cream together 2 cups sugar and the butter. Mix in the eggs.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • In a shallow bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
  • Roll dough into 1″ balls and roll in cinnamon sugar to coat.
  • Place several inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes or until cookies firm up.
