Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bell pepper and onion and cook, stirring frequently, until the veggies soften, about 4-5 minutes.
Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon until it browns and is cooked through about 6-8 minutes.
Add the garlic, salt, and pepper and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until fragrant.
Add the ketchup, broth, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and mustard and stir to combine. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes or until the desired consistency is reached.
Serve warm on toasted buns.
