Preheat the oven to 350° (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until all the spices are evenly incorporated into the ground beef.
Press the ground beef mixture evenly into the bottom of the greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Bake the ground beef mixture for 20 minutes or until fully cooked. Drain any liquid and fat from the pan and let it cool for 5 minutes. Carefully remove the beef from the baking dish and set aside. Wipe the baking dish clean.
While the ground beef is cooking, melt the 1 tablespoon of butter into a small non-stick saute pan over medium heat.
Add the diced onions to the saute pan and cook until translucent and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Slice the slider rolls horizontally. Place the bottom half in the same baking dish used for the beef. Lay 6 slices of the American cheese evenly over the bottom half. Place the cooked beef on top of the bottom rolls and American cheese, followed by the sauteed onions, then the other 6 slices of American cheese. Add the top half of the slider rolls.
Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter and sprinkle everything seasoning or the sesame seeds on top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden and the cheese has melted.
Slice the slider rolls and serve with your favorite condiments, sides and pickles. Enjoy!
