Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake

This Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake recipe has made it’s way to the top of favorite dessert list. It’s so good! If you love cheesecake and Oreos you are going to fall in love with this.

Ingredients

For cake:

  • 1 box triple chocolate cake mix
  • eggs
  • water
  • oil
  • 24 oz cream cheese
  • 12 oreo's cream scraped off, cookies crushed
  • 4 oreos cut into quarters
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Whipping cream:

  • 1 C heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 C powder sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 12 Oreo's creme scraped off and cookie's crushed
  • Mini Oreos to decorate

Instructions

Cake:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Prepare cake as shown in directions on the back of the box
  • Spray the springform pan with pam spray
  • Pour cake batter half way into the springform pan and add the cut Oreos into the cake batter
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
  • Set aside to cool while you make the cheesecake
  • In a standing mixer, combine the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla
  • Mix until combined
  • Crack one egg at a time, mix well before cracking the the next egg
  • Mix in the crushed Oreos
  • Pour the cheesecake over the cooled cake and bake for 1 hour or until cheesecake is set
  • Place onto a wire rack to cool to room temperature
  • Place into the fridge to cool over night

Whipped cream:

  • In a standing mixer, combine the heavy whipping cream, powder sugar and vanilla
  • Mix until stiff peaks form
  • Scoop some whipped cream into the piping bag
  • Scoop the rest of the whipped cream into the top of the cheesecake and smooth it out
  • Cover the whipped cream with the crushed oreos
  • Pipe around the edges whipped cream and then place a mini Oreo around the edges
  • Enjoy!
