Baked Peaches

Peach halves are sprinkled with cinnamon and brown sugar and a splash of bourbon then baked until warm and tender in this Baked Peaches recipe. Serve with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream for a simple yet impressive summer dessert.

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly butter a small baking dish just large enough to hold the peaches snugly.
  • Place peach halves cut-side up in the baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the peaches.
  • Dot each peach half with butter, then drizzle with vanilla, lemon juice and bourbon.
  • Divide the brown sugar mixture on top of the peaches.
  • Bake them for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the peaches are fork-tender and the tops are lightly caramelized.
  • Serve warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Store leftover baked peaches in the fridge for 2-3 days.
