Cherry pie filling is topped with a soft golden crust in this Cherry Cobbler recipe. Made with just 5 ingredients in less than an hour, it's a quick and easy dessert for any occasion.
Vanilla ice cream or whipped creamoptional, for serving
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x9-inch baking dish to keep the cobbler from sticking.
In a medium bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, milk, sugar, and melted butter. Stir gently until the batter is just combined and smooth.
Pour the cherry pie filling into the baking dish and spread it out evenly with a spoon or spatula.
Drop spoonfuls of the Bisquick mixture on top of the cherries. The batter won't completely cover the filling, and that's fine.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The cobbler is ready when the topping is golden brown and firm to the touch.
Remove the dish from the oven and allow it to cool for about 5-10 minutes before serving. This will help the cherry filling set slightly.
Scoop the cobbler onto plates or in bowls while it’s still warm. Serve it with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired. Enjoy!
