Place the softened butter into a bowl and mash using a fork (or spoon) until smooth.
Stir in the garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper and combine until creamy.
Spoon the butter mixture into a log shape (1” in diameter) on a long piece of plastic wrap.
Wrap the butter in the plastic wrap and roll it to get an even log shape. Place in the refrigerator to firm up.
Unwrap and slice into discs when ready to serve.
