  • Place the softened butter into a bowl and mash using a fork (or spoon) until smooth.
  • Stir in the garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper and combine until creamy.
  • Spoon the butter mixture into a log shape (1” in diameter) on a long piece of plastic wrap.
  • Wrap the butter in the plastic wrap and roll it to get an even log shape. Place in the refrigerator to firm up.
  • Unwrap and slice into discs when ready to serve.

Notes

  • If you use salted butter you will need to reduce the amount of salt added to the recipe.
