Grilled Pineapple

With a caramelized brown sugar glaze, this Grilled Pineapple is perfectly sweet and fruity, with just a bit of smoky char on the outside. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a quick dessert.

  • Preheat your grill or a grill pan to medium heat.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and allspice until well combined to make the glaze. Set aside.
  • On a baking sheet or cutting board arrange the pineapple spears. Using a pastry brush, generously spread the glaze all over the pineapple spears.
  • Place the pineapple spears onto the preheated grill grates. Cook for about 7-10 minutes, turning them occasionally, until the pineapple begins to caramelize and char slightly.
  • Once done, remove the pineapple from the grill and let it cool slightly.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and a dollop of whipped cream if desired. Enjoy!
