Owl Lunch

My 9 year old came up with this fun Owl Lunch for Kids for an art competition at his school and did such a great job!

Ingredients

  • Sandwich Thins
  • cheese
  • turkey breast
  • lettuce
  • 2 slices cucumber
  • 1 baby carrot
  • 1 black olive or black grape
  • 2 almonds

Instructions

  • Fill your sandwich with turkey or any filling that you want.
  • Cut cheese slices with a small flower cookie cutter or with scissors for a fun edge. Place the cut out cheese pieces on top rotating the colors.
  • Place the cucumber slices on top for the eyes and cut a black olive in half for the pupils.
  • Cut a baby carrot in half. Cut out a beak and the feet using a knife. Place almonds on top for the ears and lettuce on the sides for flying wings.
