Ready in just 35 minutes, this Sheet Pan Pizza is a quick, easy homemade pizza recipe the entire family will love. Make it even easier by using store-bought sauce and dough.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it into small pieces until browned, about 5-6 minutes. Drain excess fat and set the sausage aside.
Grease a 13x9-inch sheet pan with the remaining olive oil. Sprinkle an even layer of cornmeal across the pan to prevent sticking.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface, then gently stretch it to fit the sheet pan. If the dough resists, allow it to rest for 5 minutes before trying again.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Evenly layer the cooked sausage over the cheese layer.
Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden, and the crust is cooked through.
Remove from the oven and allow the pizza to cool for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
