Margarita Trucks Could Be Rolling into Your Neighborhood Soon

Do you hold memories of the Ice Cream Truck near and dear to your heart? Hearing that familiar theme and running with excitement to get your favorite summertime treat? Well, now, there is a version of the ice cream truck for adults are coming into some neighborhoods. Welcome Margarita Trucks.

The Margarita Truck

For residents in San Antonio, this is a current reality. When Covid hit the restaurant industry was hot very hard, including La Gloria, a restaurant owned by Johnny Hernandez.  When Texas started to open back up in later May, Hernadez wanted to still serve his loyal customers but from the comforts of their own homes.

The first margarita truck hit the streets on May 28th. The truck is selling the restaurant’s famous margaritas as well as taco kits, chips and salsa, and Mexican street corn.

How Much For a Margarita?

You have to order online to get one of La Gloria’s famous margaritas. The flavors include prickly pear, mango, blue, and the signature house. Food must be included with each alcohol order. Drinks come in 16 ounces, for $10 or a kit that makes 6 drinks for $38.
