Fall is so close and I cannot wait! It is almost time to wear boots and scarves, curl up by the fire with a fuzzy blanket, and indulge in everything pumpkin spice. This year, a pumpkin snack board is the hottest food trend for Halloween and I cannot wait to try out some of these!

What is a Pumpkin Food Board?

I’ve done many boards before, but I have never tried a pumpkin charcuterie board and now I am so excited to try it!

What I love about creating boards is you simply let your creative side take over. You can do whatever you want!

The goal is to create a pumpkin using food.

How to Make a Pumpkin Snack Board

Before you begin, gather as many food items as you can in the following colors:

  • Orange
  • Brown
  • Yellow
  • Black

Then you simply go to work and try to arrange them to create a pumpkin!

You can use healthy foods or even treats and desserts. It’s all up to you.

Fruit, Veggie, and Snack Ideas

  • Clementines
  • Dried Apricots
  • Cheddar Popcorn
  • Cheese Crackers
  • Cheddar cheese slices
  • Baby Carrots
  • Orange Peppers
  • Cheese Balls
  • Sweet Potato Crackers
  • Nacho Doritos
  • Cantaloupe
  • Cucumbers or Broccoli (for stem/mouth)
  • Black Grapes or Raisins (for Eyes/mouth)

Create funny faces for your Jack o lantern or do a traditional pumpkin. Many have found that using some triangle cookie cutters helps with creating faces for your pumpkin board.

Whatever sounds delicious to you, add it to your board!

Grab some cheese, crackers, olives, carrots, pretzels, candy corn, grapes, blackberries, cheese, popcorn, and more. The options are endless.

Once you get started working on your snack board, I’m sure the creativity will just start to flow. It may even be hard to stop!

Have a Halloween party and see who comes up with the best pumpkin snack boards! It will be so much fun and you’ll enjoy some delicious treats as well!

Who is going to try to make one of these this year? You know I will be for sure!
