Your kids are going to just love these Snail Pesto Pinwheels for a fun appetizer and this 4 ingredient recipe is SO easy to make!

My boys had fun creating these little guys and said they tasted amazing! We adapted a Red Gold Tomatoes recipe that you can find here and put our fun twist on it. We have really enjoyed being Red Gold blog ambassadors and my family loves their products for so many reasons!
Snail Pesto Pinwheels Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerator crescent rounds
- 1/3 cup pesto, homemade or purchased
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold® Petite Diced Tomatoes with Garlic & Olive Oil, drained
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
How To Make Pesto Pinwheels
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Pull off one of the strips from your crescents.
- Spread a spoon full of pesto on the top.
- Open up your tomatoes and spoon about 8 tomatoes on top of the pesto for each.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Roll the crescent strip up and cut a V shape out of the end.
- Place your snails onto a baking sheet twisting the end.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Stand them up while they are still a bit warm so the bottoms will have a flat surface before they cool.
We had so much fun making these cute snails and they would be super cute for a Spring brunch or party!

These were simple and DELICIOUS! I made them for a woodland themed baby shower and everyone downed them FAST, even though there was plenty of other good food. I’m excited to make them with my preschoolers.
Yay. Thank you Susan!
I made these for a Shrek party and everyone loved them. 🙂 will be making again just because they taste so good and are fun at parties
Thanks Shaina!
