Someone recently filmed the world’s largest skillet on a huge truck driving down a Tennessee interstate. Where is this skillet going?
The Lodge Cast Iron shop, located in Sough Pittsburg shared that this giant cast iron will be going in their Lodge Cast Iron Museum. This museum is on track to open during summer 2022. Guests will be able to see it in person when they visit!
This skillet is 18 feet long from tip to tip and it officially weighs 14,360 pounds. It is literally the world’s largest skillet!
The truck carrying this gigantic skillet was spotted on I-59 and was coming from Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was on its way to the museum!
When you visit this museum, you will see the complete history behind the cast iron skillet including how it is made, how it is used, and so much more. It will definitely be an interesting museum for sure!
