A gardening expert I watch on YouTube creates strawberry stones to keep the birds from eating his strawberries. He lays them among the plants before they show fruit. The birds assume all the berries are bad and leave them alone.
Do you paint the entire rock? Or just the top?
True artists, love to get ideas from these.
What kind of paint do you use to paint the stones? Please email me. Thank you so much!!
I wish these we in a booklet to follow…love them all
I want to make name specific rocks using my grandchildren’s names (5). What is the best product to write their names on the rocks and also to seal the rocks for outdoor/water use? Please respond to my email address if possible. Thank you. I am not a “crafty” person….:(
I have to just to say these are so freaking cool! I can only hope to be of this caliber
These are some cool projects that I would like to try sometime. It’s a good summer time project to do with the kids.
Great fun to do with my granddaughter this summer or March break!
As everyone above me has said, these are so creative and lovely. My great-granddaughters love rocks and love to paint. What a special display of the two. We will have to begin a real rock search. I can’t imagine finding rocks like those used to paint the little houses or bungalows. Terrific ideas.
Love love all of these. Taught ceramics for years.
These rocks are amazing. Thanks for sharing your talents with others.
May God bless!
I love these rock art creations. My two young granddaughters and I pant rocks all the time. lol Nothing like these. Beautiful
Love the rocks! Are they freehand or is there a transfer for them?
Very creative Rock artist I so enjoyed seeing all the rocks on this page of over 40 of the Best Rock paintings.
Can you paint on red clay rocks?
I think those might be too porous. It won’t hurt to test one out though.
Love everyone of these…keep them coming..
Beautiful!
Love them all, I paint some rock they are so some.
I think this is the cutest idea. Unfortunately, many of us (ME) may not me painters. Just curious if you can get patterns for the cat ones?
This is so Beautiful. This is the makings of an enchanted Garden . I only wish i could send you a photo of my Beagle that passed away and you could paint him so he could still stay in his favorite spot in the garden❤ He was my Bestfriend.
LOVE THEM
Great Ideas!!
Amazing! they all look so real!
What type of paint did you use on the rocks? I love these.
Most people use acrylic paints to decorate, modge podge (matte or glossy) to seal (if not putting rocks outside) and clear spray sealant (matte or glossy) for those used outside. You can find all of it at Walmart, or stores like it .
what paint do you use to paint the rocks and do and had to keep the paint on there thank you
Acrylic paint. Seal with a clear coat of fast drying acrylic spray or modpodge. If you use permanent marker on the rock it might run when you cover with the clear coat. WalMarts have acrylic paint in small bottles for as little as fifty cents. Glitter, metallic, and other types are a little more. If you use it wisely, it lasts a long time. A little goes a long way.
