Big Bird & Snuffleupagus Breakfast

My youngest toddler is a big fan of Sesame Street so we decided to make this fun Big Bird & Snuffleupagus Breakfast one morning a couple of weeks ago. My boys really loved this and it’s pretty easy to make!

Big Bird & Snuffleupagus Breakfast

2 Eggs
Pancake Mix
1 Large & 1 Mini Marshmallow
2 Regular and 2 Mini Chocolate Chips
2 Dark Grapes
1 Strawberry

Start out by mixing up the pancake mix according to directions. Make a large round pancake on medium heat so it’s a little darker. Cut around one side to make the trunk using kitchen scissors. Cut out a piece of the scraps to make the mouth and eye lids. Cut a large marshmallow in half to the eyes. You could also spray on whipped cream. Place 2 chocolate chips on the eyes for the pupils. Place the cut out eye lids on the top. Cut sliced a dark grape for eye lashes. Cut a slice from a strawberry and put that on top of the mouth pancake cut out.

For Big Bird you want to scramble up 2 to 3 eggs. We also saved just a little of the beaten egg to make the beak in the pan. Place the eggs on the plate in the shape of Big Bird. Slip a slice of strawberry for the mouth under the beak. We cut a mini marshmallow in half for the eyes and used mini chocolate chips for the pupils. We cut a piece of our dark grape for the eye lids.

This is such a fun breakfast to make with the kids one morning and they will have lots of fun helping make it!

Here is Big Bird with his best friend Snuffleupagus!

This is terribly creative!! I will have to do something fun for my little guy during lunch!

So creative! Love Snuffy and Big Bird! I would make this for the preschoolers "left behind" on the first day of school for big brother or sister. Thanks so much for sharing on Busy Monday!

I just love your stuff! Of course!! This big bird and snuffy is adorable and looks like it would be so fun to eat too!
