While we all have to stay inside, let’s not forget so do most of our pets. This can be a challenge for them, just like it is for some of us. Here is how you can make it fun for your dogs! You can use your dog’s paw print and turn it into beautiful art for your home. Such a wonderful keepsake idea.

Love this one we spotted on Facebook
Depending on the size of your dog, it might be hard to do inside the house, so it might be best to wait until you get a little sunshine and a beautiful day to create this project outside. You certainly don’t want colorful paw prints running all throughout your house!

What To Do
To complete this project, here is what you’ll need:
- A dog’s paw
- Paint (Tempera or water-based paints are best as they tend to be non-toxic)
- Paint Brush
- Paper
This is a super easy project. Simply put the paint on your dog’s paw, then hold their paw onto the paper or canvas for a couple of seconds. Afterward, make sure to rinse off your dog’s paw so it doesn’t get too messy!

After you have done all the paw prints you want, then it is your turn to finish the design! Next, you will paint the stems, leaves, and anything else you want on the paper! You can create and make the flowers however you want.
It is such an easy but fun project to do together with your pets to make it a little easier on them during this time.
Have you ever made these before? If not, you will definitely want to use your dog’s paw print to create beautiful artwork. They will even make the perfect gift for the ones you love as well!
