Snowman Hat Cookies

These snowman hat cookies are one of my favorite Christmas cookies because they contain one of my most favorite things: Grasshoppers! Not real grasshoppers, of course, but the delicious chocolate and mint Keebler cookies.

Add some marshmallows and chocolate and you’ve got a holiday top hat!

Snowman Hat Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Keebler Grasshopper cookies
  • 1 package of large marshmallows
  • 1 bag of melting milk chocolate
  • 1 container of wilton holly melody sprinkles
  • 1/4 C mini M&M, reds picked out
  • 1 disposable piping bag
  • 1 cookie sheet fitted with parchment paper

  1. Using a double boiler, melt your chocolate
  2. Place 24 grasshopper cookies onto the cookie sheet
  3. Dip 3/4 of the marshmallows into the chocolate and lightly shake the excess chocolate off
  4. Spoon a little dollop of chocolate into the middle of the cookie and place the marshmallow onto the chocolate
  5. Repeat steps with remaining chocolate
  6. Pour the rest of the chocolate into the piping bag
  7. Using the chocolate as a glue, pipe on a dot onto the back of the red M&M
  8. Place the M&M onto the middle of the white part of the marshmallow
  9. Pipe on a small dollop onto the back of the holly sprinkles and place a holly leaf on both sides of the M&M
  10. Repeat with remaining cookies and marshmallows
  11. Once done, let sit to harden for about 20-30 minutes

  • 1 container of wilton holly melody sprinkles
  • ¼ C mini M&M, reds picked out
  • 1 disposable piping bag
  • 1 cookie sheet fitted with parchment paper

  2. Place 24 grasshopper cookies onto the cookie sheet
  3. Dip ¾ of the marshmallows into the chocolate and lightly shake the excess chocolate off
