Mad for tropical drinks? Of course, you are! The flavors, the colorful presentation, it’s all perfect. Here are some drinks you should try after this one.

Banana Rum Punch

Run, don’t walk, to buy yourself some little drink umbrellas. You are going to want to dress these cocktails up in the way they deserve – and they deserve a pretty umbrella.

When you go to the liquor store, (unless you already have these ingredients on hand), ask for the following: Bacardí Banana Rum, Pineapple rum, and grenadine.

At the grocery store, you need to pick up orange juice, grenadine (if you can’t buy it at your liquor store), pineapple juice, ginger ale, and a few oranges and lemons.

If you want to kick your presentation up a notch, pick up a couple of blood oranges rather than regular oranges. They are an interesting color and worth trying when you’re going for a true showcase drink.

A Great Excuse to Plan a Backyard Party!

I’m thinking you could plan an entire smorgasbord of food that this tangy-sweet adult drink would compliment. I’m thinking maybe ribs, tortellini pasta salad, cucumber dill dip with baguettes would be great.

Don’t forget dessert! Personally, I think our brownie batter dip is a good choice. It’s easy to make, you’ll serve it chilled to perfection, and people will flip for it. Chocolate is almost always a good choice. Plus, there are all sorts of things you can use to “dip” into it.

Vanilla wafers, butter cookies, pound cake, and bites of biscotti. It’s a WOW kind of dessert because it looks so different than most others. It’s a knock-your-socks-off big bowl fluffy chocolate. No chocolate lover worth his or her weight could pass it up!
