Here’s what you’ll need to make the Easy Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake (the exact measurements and full recipe instructions are below in the printable recipe card):

  • Pillsbury refrigerated cinnamon rolls – use the original rolls, not Grands.
  • Apple pie filling – you can get store-bought or make our homemade apple pie filling.
  • Cinnamon – the cinnamon is option as there is already cinnamon in the rolls and pie filling, but a little extra fresh cinnamon really bumps up the flavor.

Make Ahead and Storing:

Make Ahead: I love recipes that I can make ahead of time when I have guests staying. You can easily prepare the cinnamon rolls ahead of time by combining it all in the baking dish. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and place in the fridge overnight. The next morning, simply uncover and bake as directed!

Storing: Cover the leftover cinnamon roll bake with plastic wrap. You can keep it on the counter for a day, or store in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Love this! Easily made but it does take longer to cook. I saw where someone commented that she used a caramel drizzle on hers. I might try that next time. Sounds wonderful.

Made mine in a Bundt pan like Monkey Bread ( pull apart bread). Baked it a little lower temp and longer bake time. Great! Next time, I will make my own icing as I thought it could use more.
