I’m crazy about these Homemade Snickers bars! With caramel, peanuts, chocolate and even marshmallow creme – these are even better than the original candy bar. I can’t get enough of them.

Homemade Snickers
Snickers are my all time favorite candy bar and this homemade version is fantastic! Just a hand full of ingredients and super easy to make. Don’t let the instructions intimidate you – there are several steps but very simple. A full pan of homemade snickers bars are assembled in just 20 minutes.

(full amounts in recipe box below)
- semi sweet chocolate chips
- creamy peanut butter
- marshmallow creme fluff
- powder sugar
- unsalted roasted peanuts
- caramels
- heavy whipping cream
- 9×13 baking dish
How To Make Homemade Snickers
- Using a double boiler, combine 1 C chocolate chips, and the 3 tbsp peanut butter and melt until smooth.
- Pour melted chocolate into the baking dish and smooth out. Place into the freezer while you make the nougat
- In a medium bowl, combine the marshmallow fluff, 1/4 C peanut butter and powder sugar. Mix until combined
- Using your hands, push down the nougat onto the first layer of chocolate.
- Lightly push in the peanuts.
- In the clean double boiler pot, melt the caramels and heavy whipping cream. Stir the caramel until fully melted
- Pour over nougat
- Place into the fridge for 20 minutes
- After you wash the double boiler one last time, repeat the first step with the remaining 1 C chocolate chips and 3 tbsp peanut butter.
- Pour melted chocolate over cooled caramel and place back into the fridge until hardened.
- Use a sharp knife to cut into squares.
- Enjoy!
How To Store Homemade Snickers:
Homemade Snickers hold up best in the fridge allowing them to keep their shape. Room temperature will also work in a cooler environment that isn’t too warm which can lead to melting or becoming too soft.
Tips:
One option is to cut the bars into smaller rectangles and dipping the entire bar into the chocolate. This will look a bit more like the authentic Snickers candy bar.
