Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to add some extra protein- super good! We use these for our XC runner and softball tournaments!

Hello I am excited to make these? How many scoops of protein powder would be a good addition to this recipe? Would almond butter be okay to substitute the peanut butter? Thank you!

    1. Thanks Caitlin! It really depends on the scoop size, but when I add protein powder I usually add a scoop at a time and then as much as will still combine well and keeps the consistency. And yes, the almond butter will be a good substitute.

My husband loves these, and when my adult children come over, they go straight to the refrigerator to see if we have made. Great when you just want a little something.
