  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 32 ounces hash browns (1 frozen bag, defrosted)
  • 14 ounces smoked sausage diced

  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese

    Hi…thanks for the great recipe. It sounds like a great recipe to make during our upcoming beach vacation.  We are staying in a condo and I am doubtful that a crockpot will be available to use.  Has anyone ever tried this in a oven?  This recipe sounds so yummy and it is just my husband and I at our home now and with this family trip, I would have a great opportunity to try it out on everyone.  Thanks for your help.  If you could and you say this could be done in the oven, could you please give me a suggestion about oven temp and length of cooking.  I so appreciate your recipes and assistance.

    This was easy to make and absolutely delicious!!! I made this for my Wife today for her Birthday, so I turned it up a notch and smoked sausage on the smoker, and added eggs to the mixture. It is Sooo good!!

    2. Do you mean you have added beaten raw fresh eggs as an ingredient to the casserole prior to baking  – or served scrambled eggs as a side to the casserole?  If you used the beaten raw eggs as an ingredient how many did you use?

    3. How many eggs did you use and how did you prepare it? Did you just mix the eggs and then pour in the crockpot to cook or did you add them cooked, after the crock pot was done?

    This looks delicious. Recipe looks as though there are scrambled eggs but I didn’t  see any listed and are the sausages pre cooked before going into the slow cooker? I hope to cook this soon.
