  • The peanut butter mixture will have a texture somewhat like chunky peanut butter.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared 9×13-inch pan.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter in the microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring well between each cooking interval until completely melted and smooth.
  • Spread the chocolate-peanut butter evenly over the peanut butter bars.
  • Sprinkle the top of the bars with Reese’s Pieces.
  • Chill the bars in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set, then cut into 12 squares.

What is the Best Peanut Butter to Use?

The best peanut butter to use in the bars is your favorite brand of creamy peanut butter. Some all-natural peanut butters could work too, but be sure they’re smooth and not too oily or chunky.

How to Store Leftovers

Keep the leftover bars in an airtight food storage container. They can be kept in the refrigerator or at room temperature for up to five days.
