Chocolate Stuffed Marshmallows for S’mores!
Campfire Toasted Cinnamon Rolls from Dabbles and Babbles…
Why does camping food always seem to taste extra delicious! So in the end, it turned out that our campfire cinnamon rolls experiment was a huge success and I would highly recommend it.
Campfire Cones from Center Cut Cook…
Filled with your favorite s’more ingredients and can be made on the grill, in the oven, or heated over a campfire!
Campfire Crescent Dogs…
Instead of taking hot dog buns…we like to use Crescent Strips on the grill to make our hot dogs. Place half of a cheese slice on the hot dog and wrap the crescent strip around the hot dog. Place them on non stick foil and grill until they are done. You can also do this over a camp fire using a stick.
Blueberry Cobbler on the Grill from Tablespoon…
Nothing to eat at home? At first glance, it might not look like you have the ingredients in your cupboard to make a tasty, delicious dinner, but look again. Whether it’s a forgotten can of soup, half a box of spaghetti noodles or some beans from all the way in the back, your there are more pantry dinner ideas at your fingertips that you may think.
Campfire Potatoes from Daily Leisure…
Very easy and delicious!
Campfire Marshmallow Strawberries from Food 52…
When you pair strawberries and marshmallow crème (and we’re not talking the jarred marshmallow stuff), you’re getting two kinds of sweet. From the strawberry, there’s the light, floral sweetness the fruit tends to yield when fully ripe. The marshmallow crème offers more of an unnatural sweetness, like the potent candy you used to be addicted to when you were a kid.
Campfire Cinnamon Rolls…
I can see why this idea is so popular…it’s SO good & easy to make. Cut the oranges in half & scoop out the orange. Place the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls inside & place on the grill. The oranges keep the bottoms from burning & gives them such a great taste!
Campfire Rolo Marshmallows from Simply Be Photo…
Fun and creative way to make your marshmallows taste better!

Did not find the recipe for the bacon wrapped corn on the cob – and would love to have the picture print on every recipe.
What fun things to make & bake!!
Back, when aluminum foil was first sold in stores, we called these “hobo” meals. After the war (WWII), lots of men traveled across the country, “homeless”, and we would wrap any appreciable amount of cooked food into foil, give them away. I was told the hobo’s would heat and eat when they bedded down. Later, I got into the habit of cooking individual meals in foil, so if DH came home late, I just put it into the oven & re-heated.
What a great collection of camping recipes! I can’t wait to try putting Rolos in my s’mores. I love both! We just started a camping food blog. If you’d like to share one of our recipes on your post, I’d really appreciate it! We have a number of great recipes to try. 🙂
Thank you for the recipes
