Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons

Eggo Monkey Banana Split #EggoWaffleOff

We are on day 2 of our Eggo recipe ideas that we will be sharing every day for the entire week! We were asked by Eggo to be their Chief Waffle Officers and come up with our own creative ways to use Eggo products. We wanted to make something fun and sweet for a kids dessert so we came up with this silly Eggo Monkey Banana Split! This adorable ice cream treat is super easy to make and my boys absolutely loved it!

Eggo Monkey Banana Split

Mini Eggo Waffles
Breyers Chocolate Ice Cream
1 Banana
Whipped Cream Spray
Regular and Mini Chocolate Chips
1 Mini Marshmallow
Peanut Butter or Chocolate Cookie Frositng
1 Marciano Cherry with Stem

Start out by scooping the Breyers chocolate ice cream in a bowl. Place it in the freezer while you are gathering up your other goodies to decorate. Toast 3 mini Eggo waffles. Take the ice cream out of the freezer. Place 2 mini Eggo waffles on the sides for ears. Place 1 mini Eggo waffle on the top for the nose. We cut a mini marshmallow in half for the eyes. We used regular chocolate chips for the nostrils and mini chocolate chips for the mouth & pupils. Either attach them on using peanut butter or chocolate cookie frosting. We cut a banana in half and placed it on the sides. We sprayed whipped cream on the top and bottom. Place a cherry on top and that is it!

Adorable 🙂 I bet your boys loved it!

Oh so adorable. Kids like when you make animals and such out of food but I think we moms do too.

We may have met by chance…but we become friends by choice.
