This homemade fruit dip is one of my go-to recipes for the summer months. It’s ready in 5 minutes with just 2 ingredients and it’s one of my favorite ways to enjoy fresh fruit. I’ve offered this at many potlucks, picnics, and BBQs. It’s always a hit! While you can make it year-round, the abundance of fresh fruit in the summer months makes it extra good!

Why This Is The Best Fruit Dip Recipe Ever

  • Only 2 ingredients. Yup! Marshmallow fluff and cream cheese are really the only things needed to make this fruit dip. Just add fruit for serving!
  • Ready in 5 minutes. Combine the two ingredients and this dip is ready to enjoy. It can be made in advance, which I do recommend.
  • Light, sweet, and creamy. This dip is the perfect combination of a sweet and tangy flavor. It’s not overly sweet and it pairs so nicely with all of the fruit. It makes a great dessert in the summer months.

Recipe Ingredients

Here’s everything you need to know about the two ingredients in this easy fruit dip. Scroll down to the recipe card below for the exact measurements.

  • Cream cheese – Be sure to use full-fat brick-style cream cheese. The containers of cream cheese are too soft. Let it come to room temperature ahead of time to ensure a smooth, creamy dip.
  • Marshmallow creme – The marshmallow creme adds a lighter, fluffier texture to this dip. It also helps to sweeten it and balance the tangy cream cheese flavor.

How To Make Fruit Dip

This easy fruit dip recipe takes minutes to make!

Cream cheese and marshmallow creme in a bowl
  • Combine. Stir together the cream cheese and marshmallow cream until smooth and evenly mixed.
  • Chill. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. I recommend making it an hour or so in advance.

How To Serve

Fruit dip is meant to be served with…well, fruit!

Fruits like strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, red grapes, and green grapes are ideal because they don’t need to be sliced or diced. Kiwi, pineapple, bananas, apples, and other fruits work really well diced into bite-sized pieces. You may want to offer some toothpicks on the side so people can easily dip the fruit.

Nilla wafers and graham crackers are also super yummy in this dip.

Proper Storage

Store leftover fruit dip in an airtight container. It’s best enjoyed within 2-3 days. Just give it a good stir before serving.
