Gooey Butter Cake – this is truly so easy and absolutely delicious. It’s a basic yellow box cake with a second butter and cream cheese layer on top. This is probably the most moist and flavorful cake ever!

EASY Gooey Butter Cake

This easy Gooey Butter Cake  just melts in your mouth. It’s a great dessert for when you need something quick and something that everyone will rave about!

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup of Butter (melted)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb. of Powdered Sugar
  • 8 oz. of Cream Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together cake mix, butter and 2 eggs.
  3. Pour and spread evenly into the bottom of your pan.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla. Mix well.
  5. Pour over cake batter and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes, or until top of your cake is firm/set.
  7. Let cool.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
