Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons

Jawa Jigglers

Disclaimer: This post may contain affiliate links.

We are on Day 3 of our 2 weeks of Star Wars! We came up with these Jawa Jigglers for my 6 year olds Star Wars birthday party. I figured that most kids love jello jigglers and thought that making them look like Jawa’s would be really cute. You will also love how easy these are to make. Will take you about 15 minutes and can be made a few days ahead for a party.

We started out by making the jello jigglers using the recipe off of the Kraft site…

what you need
2-1/2cups boiling water (Do not add cold water.)
2pkg. (8-serving size each) JELL-O Gelatin, We used Straberry and Lime to make the brown color.

STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 3 min. until completely dissolved. Pour into (we lightly sprayed ours with pam) 13×9-inch pan.

REFRIGERATE at least 3 hours or until firm.

After it is firm we cut out our Jawa shapes using a Gingerbread Girl cookie cutter like this…

We then cut the top rounded side off to make the head look more pointed like a robe (please excuse my blurry pictures..I was working fast and in a hurry)…

We then cut out the face using a frosting tip. Flip the Jawa on the back side before cutting it out. That way the smaller opening will be in the front…

We then cut the tips off of dark grapes and placed the jigglers on top..they will pop right in..

We had some round flat white sprinkles that we pressed on for eyes. You could also just use frosting.

That’s it and the kids will love it!
