Making smoothies is one of my favorite things to do. They are simple to make and great for any time of day. A smoothie like this is perfect for the morning to boost your energy and keep you full until lunchtime. This recipe is just so good and you will fall in love!
Key Ingredients You’ll Need
Pineapple: I like to use a combination of chunked pineapple and fresh pineapple for garnish.
Ice Cream: Vanilla ice cream works best to get the most pineapple flavor, but if you have other flavors in mind, feel free to use them.
How To Make A Pineapple Smoothie
Step 1. In a blender, add the pineapple and vanilla ice cream.
Step 2. Combine the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
Is This Healthy?
This smoothie isn’t the perfect picture of health, but it can be. If you have a healthy alternative to vanilla ice cream, it can be relatively healthy. I love using the Halo brand of ice cream as a healthy substitution.
What Other Fruits Taste Best With A Pineapple Smoothie?
There are tons of fruits that go well with pineapples. If you want to add more berries or fruits to this, feel free. I think fruits like strawberries, blueberries, mangos, apples, etc go very well with pineapple.
