This fun Halloween Jack o’ Lantern Lunch that we made was featured in New Jersey Family magazine. Such a super easy lunch idea for your little ones at Halloween!
Jack-o-Lantern Lunch
We love making easy fun food around the holidays. My boys loved this lunch!!
Ingredients You’ll Need
- 1 slice of dark German wheat bread
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese (or American)
- 1 slice of turkey (optional)
- 2 green grapes
- Flour tortillas
Jack o’ Lantern Sandwich
- Cut the bread into a circle.
- Top with turkey and cheese (you may have to use 2 pieces) to fit the bread
- Cut out eyes and a mouth for a pumpkin face.
- Place grapes on top for the stem.
Pumpkin Shaped Tortilla Chips
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cut tortillas into pumpkin shapes with pumpkin cookie cutters.
- Place your pumpkin shapes on a cookie sheet and spray with cooking spray.
- Flip them over and spray the other side.
- Bake about 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes, then sprinkle with kosher salt.
