I am loving this spiced rum bacon and chocolate bundt cake! Why didn’t I think of combining, chocolate, bacon and rum sooner? We especially love making this for dad and grandpa on special occasions like birthdays or Father’s Day. They love it!

Spiced Rum Bacon and Chocolate Bundt Cake
Ingredients
- 1 18.25-oz box Chocolate Devil’s Food cake mix
- 1 3.9-oz box Instant chocolate pudding mix
- 4 Eggs room temp
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup Spiced Rum
- 1 cup chopped cooked bacon
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
- 1/2 cup un – salted Butter room temp
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 cup SpicedRum
- 1/4 cup water
Garnish Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Vanilla Rum Icing Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cups powder sugar
- 1/4 cup Spiced rum
- 1/4 cup water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Grease one 10 inch Bundt cake pan.
- In a large bowl with a electric mixer, beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, cup oil, water, and 1/2 cup spiced rum on high speed for 2 minutes.
- Add the bacon, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips, stir to combine.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake at 325 degrees F for 50-60 minutes.
- Let cake stand for 20 minutes and then turn out onto a serving dish.
- Make the Vanilla spiced rum glaze.
- In a medium bowl combine butter, sugar, 1/4 cup of rum, and cup of water.
- Mix until well combined.
- Pour over the cake.
- Garnish
