I made this Valentine Love Mix Snack for Valentine’s Day and my kids loved it! I noticed that there are several manufacturers that make cereal in the shape of hearts and thought it would be cute mixed with pretzels and other goodies for an after school or anytime snack.
This is a super simple snack that can be made from staples you may already have with the additon of a few more Valentine related items. Be creative!
Valentine Love Mix Ingredients:
- Heart Shaped Cereal (Quaker or Cheerios)
- Mini Pretzels
- Peanuts
- Valentine M&M’s
- Alphabet Crackers
Just mix everything together! We had the Kroger brand alphabet crackers (like animal crackers) and we picked out all of the X’s and O’s. We think it turned out pretty cute!
Valentine Love Mix Snack Option 2
For this version we just left out the X’s and O’s crackers and replaced them with strawberry sugar wafers to give it some more color.
Either way is cute…just use what you have! You could also add melted white chocolate and mini candy hearts for a dessert.

How did you cut the waffers without them crumbling?
What is the cereal called? Thanks; it's super cute!
Can you give the measurements for the ingredients and how many servings does it make?
