How to Make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars

Set your oven to 350 degrees.

Use parchment paper to line a baking dish and evenly spray with Pam. Then, set aside.

Combine the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl and mix to combine. Then, set aside.

Beat the butter and sugar in a standing mixer until light and fluffy.

Add in the egg and butter and mix until well stirred.

Add in the pumpkin puree and mix until combined.

Slowly add in the dry ingredients.

Carefully add in 3/4 cup of the chocolate chips and chunks.

Evenly add the batter into the prepared dish.

Add the rest of the chocolate chips and chunks over the batter.

For 30-45 minutes, bake in the oven or until a tester comes out clear of batter.

  • Using a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt and whisk to combine. Set aside
  • Using a standing mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Mix in the egg and vanilla and beat until combined
  • Mix in the pumpkin puree and beat until combined
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined
  • Fold in ¾ C of the semi sweet chocolate chips and the chocolate chunks
  • Spread batter into your brownie baking dish

  • Bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

    The measurement for sugar is missing, but I guessed it would be 1 cup for the standard batch. I’m layering half of the batter in then adding a layer or ricotta with some powdered sugar, THEN the rest of the batter. I cannot WAIT to try them!
