How do You Get Excess Water Out of Zucchini?

Once the zucchini has been grated use clean hands to squeeze the extra water from the zucchini. Another way to get rid of the extra water in the zucchini is to place it in a sieve and press it with a spoon. This will cause the extra water to be forced out. Then place the zucchini on paper towels in order to dry up the rest of the water.

Why are My Fritters Soggy?

Fritters that are soggy are not tasty. If you find that your zucchini fritters are soggy, it could be for one of 2 reasons. One reason that the fritters are soggy can because the oil was not hot enough when you started to cook the fritters. This will cause the fritters to sit in the oil for longer than it needs to be and this allows it to soak up more oil. The other reason the fritters may be soggy is that you did not get the excess water out of the zucchini before making the fritter.
