Eggo Birdy Nest Snack

We are on our last day 7 of sharing our fun food Eggo ideas with you! We were asked by Eggo to be their Chief Waffle Officers and we have had so much fun making our Eggo creations! We came up with this fun Eggo Birdy Nest Snack! This is so easy to make and my 2 year old loved this fun Eggo creation of ours the most! My 2 year old is not a big fruit eater (I know..weird!), but this is a great way that got him to try pineapple.

Eggo Birdy Nest Snack

4 Mini Eggo Waffles
Peanut Butter
Pineapple Chunks
Mandarin Oranges (or cheese)
2 Mini Marshmallow
Black Edible Marker (or mini chocolate chips)
Pretzel Sticks

Start out by toasting the set of 4 Eggo mini waffles. Separate them & then spread peanut butter in between 2 of them. We added pineapple chunks for the wings & hair. We cut up pieces of mandarin oranges for the feet & beak. You could also cut pieces of cheddar cheese as well. We cut the mini marshmallows in half for the eyes and used black edible marker for the pupils. You could also attach mini chocolate chips. Place them on a place and add pretzel sticks underneath them for the nest. Very easy and so much fun for the kids! Tweet Tweet!

My 2 year old was so excited with his Eggo Birdy Nest and just loved it so much!

This picture is the result of him copying his mommy…unfortunately! I have done just about everything imaginable to get him to look at the camera to take his picture. I almost think he doesn’t look at the camera on purpose just to see me act like a fool! As I was trying to get him to look at me with pretzels hanging out of my nose it resulted in this!ha Not such a good idea!:)
