Patriotic Cake Mix Cookies are a swirl of red, white and blue that’s perfect for the 4th of July. They’re easy to make and always taste yummy.
If you’re looking for some great patriotic treats for the 4th of July you’re definitely in the right place! This Poke Cake is my favorite, and I love S’mores Chex Mix & Flag Donuts, too.

Patriotic Cake Mix Cookies
You will only need three basic ingredients for these swirl cookies. Awesome, right? It’s simply a boxed white cake mix, egg whites and vegetable oil.
Yes, we’re making cookies from a cake mix!
First, you’ll combine those three ingredients and get it all mixed up. Then, you’ll seperate into three bowls and color two of them with food coloring.
Swirl each color together to make a red white and blue cookie ball.
Why Cake Mix Cookies Are So Great
Any time I am looking to make a dessert quick and fast I turn to cake mix cookies. There are several reasons why.
First of all, they’re so flippin’ easy to make. And second to that, they come out great every single time.
They’re moist, soft and full of flavor. Plus, you can add food coloring to change them for any occasion or holiday.
Because of that, I keep a few boxes of the $1 cake mix from the grocery store in the pantry for when I need it. (I know I almost always have eggs and oil.)
I think these will quickly become your favorite cookie recipe, too!
